Born on April 6, 1978 in Gorleston, Norfolk, England, Myleene Klass comes from an Australian -Filipino heritage. This young talented lady comes from a long generation of classical musicians, making that six generations in total all from her father’s side. It’s no wonder that she has the fondness for classical music embedded into her since childhood. Her grandmother was a well known Opera singer and her grandparents left their violin to her.Being interested in a number of different kinds of instruments, Klass had begun learning how to play the piano at the young age of four years. She received her formative education from St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Primary School and later went on to studying at Notre dame High school in Norwich. During those years she took up learning to play the harp and went on further to taking exams (Associated Board of the Royal School’s of Music)in the field of piano, voice and violin alongside her studies.
We don’t hear a lot about Myleene’s involvement with men and there have been only a few relationships in her past. However the most talked about is her on & off four year relationship with Graham Quinn. After going out with him for a year Klass heard about his involvement in a drug deal back in his country of Irish Republic, a charge against him that he fled from. They broke up and he was charged with a fine of 1500 Euros. However they got back after a while until she broke up with him again after he spoke with the media claiming that he had bullied Klass over her weight. With their on & off fights Klass finally announced in March 2006 that the couple were engaged. They have been together ever since then living in London.
Myleene was also the center of controversy concerning the British Bravo’s “Doll house” which was a naughtier make of “Big Brother”. Apparently some girl who looked a lot like Myleene pretended to be her and was posing as a webcam girl. This made Myleene look really bad and it became a big scandal. Later in December 2005,at a newsagent in Bermondsey Klass was attacked by a group of teenagers. They gathered together and dropped a bag of chips on her head and pinned her down to the ground. All this was done in an attempt to take some pictures of Myleene on their mobile phones. A few months later in May 2006 Klass got involved in another accident. It took place at the Red Bull charity go karting event in Cardiff, South Wales, when she got caught up in a head - on go karting collision, which was being recorded for ITV’s celebrity daredevil series. The crash resulted in Klass being badly bruised all over and a sprained leg. Klass was featured in a documentary “From Gawker to Stalker” and in 2006 she confessed to have actually been stalked by a fan. She also received a wedding dress from him and he had set up a shrine within her house. Klass is a proud mother of a beautiful baby girl Ava Bailey Quinn .She announced her pregnancy on 1 April 2007 and gave birth to her little baby on 16 august 2007, three weeks before her due date.
Being a keen supporter of the UK space program, Myleene was present with a handful of celebrities at the London control center on Christmas morning in 2003.They were waiting for the landing conformation of the UK mars probe “Beagle 2?. Unfortunately they never got to hear the signal. Myleene gained a lot of popularity when she was featured on the show “I’m a celebrity … get me out of here”. She alongside a group of other popular celebrities had to spend almost a month in the Jungles where each move was being captured on the camera. Her attire which was mostly in a bikini throughout the show made her very famous amongst the men and soon she was regarded as a sex symbol, becoming the highest paid celebrity to feature on the show. She also became the most searched celebrity on the internet. Klass has been actively involved in charity work. She auctioned her bikini that she has worn on the show on E- bay and gave all the money to charity. In addition she has actively supported such causes like Childline, Stop text Bully and the Niger famine. Klass went to visit Sierra Leone involved in the “24 Hour World Vision’s famine appeal” to understand the role of World Vision in helping poor villagers to build up and have better lives. Myleene helped to raise funds for a new building to be added to a church by giving a performance which was recorded by MTV and later aired on VH1 and ITV1 only in London. At the saint John Baptist cathedral in Norwich Klass played a few of her favorite selections from her hit album “Moving on”, alongside a number of local school children.
